To turn off is logging off from work.

To turn off is to relax…unwind…and rest.

To turn off looks different for every one of us.

To turn off is time with friends and family.

To turn off is a Saturday night out on the town.

To turn off is a lay Sunday morning, a jog or a coffee.

To turn off is changing the channel when something makes you feel uncomfortable.

To turn off is only viewing sources that fit your narrative.

To turn off is scrolling past stories of war, famine, slavery, genocide.

To turn off is buy into divisive rhetoric that fuels oppression, violence, discrimination, and the dehumanising of a populous of people.

To turn off is to ignore, silence and contribute to the injustices, bombs and bullets. But it’s okay as it isn’t in my county.

To turn off is to deny the freedoms of families, children and babies.

To turn off is to comfort oneself in the ‘what can I do?’ attitude.

To turn off is to be complicit.
